While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I discovered behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .
The State of Affairs: Squalid and Neglected Beyond Belief
From the moment I walked in , it was clear that upkeep was not a priority at Masterson’s . The floorboards were filthy, and a foul smell of stale beer and dirty bathrooms polluted the entire establishment . With a smell of a mixture of excrement , putrefaction and sickness . The main bar, which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and debris that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The toilet was in even more deplorable shape — clogged , with a snapped lever and walls covered in what I can only assume was fecal matter .

After reading through multiple accounts and chatting with the community, a fantastic read it seems that the level of hygiene (or lack thereof) at this so-called establishment is a recurring complaint.
